Saturday May 7th is Free Comic Book Day and I'll be at the Durham/Chapel Hill Ultimate Comics store signing copies of the FREE Inspector Gadget/Johnny Test comic book written by yours truely. The party runs from 10am to 4pm, so make sure you get out and pick up your free books! And buy one while you're there, a lot of great talent have books available and the comic stores are great places to hang out. Help 'em all out.
If you want to read more about what's in those free books, check out this interview I did for FreeComicBookDay.com.
Did I mention the free books? Just checking...
And yet more reviews are in for Missing Linx!
MoreHorror.com "MISSING LINX is a fun, fast read. Well done and, like I said, it surprised me with how good it was. It reminded me how much I miss reading comics."

Just a quick note with random thoughts today...
A new review is in for Missing Linx, thanks to the good folks at 8 Days a Geek.
And another review for Missing Linx from the good folks at cxPulp.
And yet another review for Missing Linx from the nice people at zombie cat productions.
And if you've not been keeping up with the latest over on my webcomic Cemetery Street, we've got a bit of a bru-ha-ha going on there regarding the 'Charlie Sheen of Comics'.
Also, you can check out an interview I did for the Outhouse Pirate Podcast a couple weeks ago, to get an update on all the various projects I have going on at the moment. At least, the ones I can talk about.

WOW! I get sitting at my desk, working and preparing for SDCC10, the next time I look up weeks have passed!
But in fairness, it has been a busy few weeks. Getting books ready that I'm either writing, editing, or just steering through the various departments over at Viper Comics. However, while I was gone from the updates here, things have been ticking along and a bunch of advanced reviews have come in for Battle Smash vs. The Saucermen from Venus.
Check them out here:
“…solid storytelling, a rollicking pace, and a fun, self-deprecating charm, Battle Smash vs. The Saucermen from Venus is a delightful action-comedy that will remind you of everything that was good about Saturday mornings…”
BROKEN FRONTIER – Jason Wilkins
“…more Whacks!, Whams!, and Smak!’s than a 1960’s Batman serial…”

I recently did an interview about Morbid Myths with the great folks at www.ComicRelated.com. You can listen here.
Well, the collection of the first three issues of Morbid Myth (plus a never before seen lost fourth issue) is available for purchase. You can get it at Amazon.com or at any good comic-book store. If they don't have it, get them to order it using the following code: FEB 08 3421.
Go buy it NOW. The publisher has assured me they WILL shoot puppies if you don't.
Some Con News. This year I'll definitely be hitting HeroesCon in Charlotte on the 21st and 22nd of June. I don't have anywhere to throw my hat on the Con floor, so just look out for the Word Monkey. Following that, I'll be at San Diego ComicCon 23rd thru 27th July. You can find me hanging out with the guys at Viper Comics and I'll be swinging by the Rorschach Entertainment / James Taylor table. Swing by and say hello if you get a chance.
