Well, here we are with the third draft of my website. There’s a very tiny possibility that this could be a short lived version as a fourth incarnation is planned, but still on the drawing board.
It’s been observed (repeatedly by a couple of regular visitors - you know who you are) that the site doesn’t get updates very often, and what’s the deal with the interweb’s least exciting blog?
Here’s the problem. I’m working on a bunch of projects that are in development but I either can’t, or won’t talk about them. In several cases, I simply not allowed - under pain of pain... and probably getting kicked off the project. Then there are projects that I won’t talk about because I know enough to know that until a project has happened, it might not happen.
But I can tease.
So here are a few the projects that I’ve been working on, in very vague terms.
- A TV show that started as a half-hour comedy show and evolved into an hour-long drama with humorous elements. It’s now being developed by a production company tied to a very big studio-sized production company.
- A movie project that I’m almost about to sign-on to write. At the moment all I can say is, it’s part of an existing franchise that people generally love or hate.
- A couple of other TV shows are kicking around as well as a couple of movies and some web-based projects.
- Several comic-books with some awesome artistic talent. One I might well be able to talk about in the very near future.
So, it’s not like I’ve been sitting on my hands, doing nothing. Just most of the things I’m working on are taking a LOOOOOOOONG time to pull together (the nature of creative collaborations, I’m afraid).
But I promise, as soon as I can, I’ll let you know what to look out for, and in the meantime, if you’re heading to San Diego this year for the 40th International Comic Con, swing by the Viper Comics booth and say “Hi.”
