Around this time of year things start to come together as a fixed point in the not too distant future becomes the focus of most of the projects I’m working on.
I registered this week for my Professional Pass, and things are starting to come together for the projects that I’ll be launching there. One of the projects is Nightmares in Oz, which will have a special Convention Only variant cover done by the super-talented Josh Howard. That’s gonna be a limited availability purchase so make plans if you want to avoid disappointment.
Nightmares in Oz is just one of the projects I’ll have available, so keep checking in to see what else you can get your hands on. I’ll also be doing signings for anyone who wants.
And while Luci Phurr’s Imps will have no official presence at SDCC this year, both myself (obviously) and Courtney Huddleston (my partner in crime) will be at the Con and are cooking up something that will at least give Luci and the Imps an unofficial presence.
Speaking of Luci, check out another of the early sketches for one of the characters -

This was the initial design of Mr. D, the Imps’ boss. As you can see here, he got a lot better dressed a lot meaner looking.
A couple of last few notes.
Luci Phurr’s Imps has an Official Facebook Fan site. You don’t have to join, but there are a few extra things that we’re planning to add there.
If you’re a regular reader of Luci Phurr’s Imps and want to show your support, swing by here and give us a vote (or two... you can vote once a day if you have a mind to).
Last thing, I’ve signed up on Formspring. Check out some of the question folks have already asked me and submit your own.
